Kentish Arms Hotel23 Stanley Street, North Adelaide, Adelaide, AustraliaOne of Adelaide's most colourful "Inns" established in 1848 by John Collard Cocker--a first-class Adelaide cricketer who designed the delightful Adelaide Oval. A simple, friendly pub tucked away in a quiet corner of beautiful, wide Stanley Street. Family owned and run, the hotel has barely altered in 152 years, with a strict no gaming machine/no gambling rule. Two beer gardens are used for popular outdoor events, such as regular screenings of old black and white "reel to reel" films - complete with popcorn! Check out the reasonably priced, country-sized pub meals, from pasta to steak.
