This is a charming and popular place that has achieved the right combination of style, good food and affordability. There are two dining rooms and an outside patio area. The main room is slightly more modern, with more creative design elements, while the second room features tablecloths and porcelain. The tables on the sidewalk are thick and wooden - more beer hall than restaurant, but at least they're in the sun. Eastern European-style Jewish food is on the menu here. This place attracts lots of tour buses as well as loyal regulars, so reserving ahead is crucial. The menu changes quite regularly, with the favorites remaining and new dishes being added. There are some very good soups and tasty appetizers. The wine list is extensive and there is a good range of other drinks. Everything is reasonably priced.
