Cava is a cafe, restaurant and gourmet catering service all in one. The tiny eatery at the corner of Kensington Road and 10th Street serves excellent Italian pastas and other dishes to dine-in customers. Many passers-by walk past Cava to the flashier coffee shops surrounding it, but they would be wiser to stop in and sample some of its inexpensive homegrown cooking. The fettuccini served here is among the most satisfying around, and the fresh soups-of-the-day rarely disappoint. If in need of a good, hearty meal to be brought to your next business meeting or reception, the catering service delivers free to offices in the downtown core and they specialize in business meetings, parties and conventions.
