Potzocalli has 18 outlets in Mexico City. It is charmingly traditional, with colorful clay decorations (especially the famous life trees from the village of Metepec), candles, plants and rustic wood furniture. Established more than 40 years ago, its specialty is pozole (corn, meat and vegetables), in Guerrero (white) or Jalisco style (red and hotter). There is something for every taste, from the original made with pig's head, to pork, chicken and yes, even vegetarian pozole with courgettes and corn.
