Brooklyn Cafe
5 Todman Street, Brooklyn, Wellington, New ZealandEstablished in the early 1990s, this cafe occupies a great corner site in Brooklyn Village and is a real community gathering point. The building dates back to 1895, and features a wooden interior with fresh cream walls, and large windows ensuring plenty of sunshine (on a good day). The restaurant serves light meals, all day brunches and dinner. The menu is fresh and varied. Try the Salmon Fillet with Vegetables on Parmesan Cream Fettuccine or stick to a rib-eye steak. An excellent wine cellar compliments the meals.
