Mars Restaurant432 College Street, Toronto, ON, CanadaTel: 416 921 6332 In business since 1951, this Kensington Market area diner offers all-day breakfasts. The secret to its success is simple: the staff makes every customer feel at home; the prices are reasonable; and the food is, as the motto says, out of this world. A newer, more upscale Mars is located at 2363 Yonge near Eglinton. Aside from the all-day breakfast, the diner is famous for its Griddle Cakes, Cheese Blintzes and the thickest milkshakes in town. The lunch-dinner menu includes Burger Platters and Breaded Schnitzel.

“I went to Mars diner on family day and the food was the worst I have ever had. I ordered the pancakes and I could not even cut them with my fork and knife. My one brother had eggs which he said were okay and my other brother had eggs and bacon and was food poisoned because the bacon was not cooked well. The staff was not very clean and the diner needs an upgrade. I did though like their chocolate milk which was made with a milk machine of some sort, chocolate syrup and a blender. It is a good spot to stop in for a milkshake or chocolate milk but not a good place to stop for food.” Popular Restraurants in TorontoView all restaurants in Toronto
