Intimate and upscale, this Brazilian hotspot in the Plateau area is proof that Montreal's South American restaurants are moving beyond the mom-and-pop stage and coming of age. The decor here is warm and inviting and the presentation sophisticated. Dishes include distinctive appetizers (CAD4-6) such as whole squid marinated and grilled, and mango salad. Also appealing is the traditional feijoada (CAD11.75), a concoction of stewed meats and black beans in an earthenware bowl. Dinner for two, excluding wine and tip, comes to between CAD30-45.
