Tradgar'n

Tradgar'n (The Garden) is called Bradgar'n (The Lumber Yard) by those in Gothenburg who don't like the look of the place. And the large building does bear a strong resemblance to a pile of planks, but it is a very popular part of Gothenburg's nightlife. It is also one of the few nightclubs in town that stay open till 5a on Friday and Saturday nights. It is partly owned by the brothers Jonas and Anders Dahlbom, chefs well known both in Sweden and internationally. Therefore, the food is top-notch. The business lunch on weekdays is greatly appreciated by those working in the centre of town, as is having a bite before a concert. The nightclub and concert area esily fits 1300 people, the enormous room has a laser light system that people travel from far and wide to experience. The last Sunday of every month is time for Baby, the club that has revolutionised Gothenburg, getting people to go out on Sunday nights. The nightclub is open till 3a (but the restaurant closes earlier). The closest tram stop is Kungsportsplatsen (trams 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, plus quite a few buses stop here).
