Situated in the old commercial area of Leith, The Rock is a restaurant that has received much praise for its successful combination of traditional Scottish fare and French flair. It is particularly great for the carnivorous diner, winning popularity amongst the locals for its wide-ranging grill section, which offers far more than the average barbeque. Fear not, this is not a blood-fest - vegetarians get a good choice of dishes and child meals can be arranged. Decoratively, it is stylishly modern with an historical quayside setting and an open-plan kitchen that adds lots of atmosphere to a great meal.
