An elegantly formal decor and a warm welcome greets the visitor to this reputable restaurant. Stac Polly offers an adventurous and interesting take on traditional Scottish food - for example, their Haggis in Filo Pastry with Plum Sauce is inspired. The menu mainly consists of hearty soups and generous portions of fish or poultry dishes, often with a surprising twist to them. Pre- and post-theatre menus are available and cost GBP15. There is a good selection of wines and some sublime desserts, including a devilishly divine Creme Brulee.
