Glasgow Noodle Bar
482 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, United KingdomWhen you stumble out of a Sauchiehall Street nightclub at 3am and need something to soak up the alcohol, this noodle bar is the best bet. A selection of about 50 main courses, all for around #5.50, should satisfy the pickiest eater and portions are huge. There's a choice of noodles or rice with every meal and plates of chips can be accompanied by any of the Chinese and Thai style sauces on the menu, or enjoy a local favourite - chips and cheese.
Customers order and pay at the counter, are given a numbered ticket and when the number is called, go back and collect their tray of food. It's unlicensed but soft drinks are always on offer and the decor is wipe clean canteen style so the staff won't care if you can't cope with chopsticks. Plastic forks are also available.

- Good food, cheap, value for money.
- Toilets could be cleaner.
“Cheap and cheerful, food is good, so is the portion sizes, although comes across as quite dirty! The toilets upstairs are a put off, viewing the storage of the rice, noodle etc. dont really want to see that side. Good late opening times sit in or takeaway. Use it quite frequently. Used to go to the canton on the opposite side of road, same again good food, cheap and not the cleanest of looking. Problem why no longer open.”
