This is a modern vegetarian restaurant in the centre of York. Newcomers to the city may find the myriad of little streets, in the nearby Stonegate and Swinegate area, a bit daunting, but persevere and you will be well rewarded. The main dining area is quite spacious and a private room is available for hire, making this an excellent choice for parties. The home-made food is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait. The menu itself offers plenty of choice for a light lunch or for a full meal. Cheese topped nachos cost around #4 and a vegetarian lasagne costs about #5. There are a number of filled sandwiches on offer and the restaurant is also fully licensed.
