Fancy effervescing about on the river? Spend champagne evenings afloat cruising the historic River Ouse from a city centre boat yard. Floodlit, themed cruises, including a barbecue, range from Irish, Caribbean and River Boat Jazz to 60/70s Disco Nights, and for a really great end to the week try the Saturday Night Fever cruise. The themed cruises leave from Lendal Bridge Landing every Thursday and Saturday until the end of September. Also great fun are the ghost cruises which board from Kings Staith; they're more fun than frightening and suitable for people of all ages. Restaurant and party boats are also available for private hire all year round.
