A short walk from the railway station - near the Financial Quarter of the city - La Grillade appears to be a very small shed at the side of the former Wellesley Hotel. This stylish and very French bistro delivers a range of good Gallic cuisine. With the menu entirely in French, you would expect the restaurant to hold itself in high regard. This is justified with a delicious range of dishes, including a breast of chicken. Vegetarian options are also available, and there is a good selection of wines starting at around #11.
