Located in the heart of gay Hamburg, this is a place for everybody: fetishists, transvestites, business types and lesbians gather here for a drink and a bite to eat. It is always crowded, especially on Saturdays when seats are hard to come by. Nevertheless, the red-brown patina walls create a relaxed mood, and Cafe Gnosa has gained a reputation for making some of the best cakes in town. There is a daily lunch special for EUR6. Alcoholic drinks cost EUR3-4, hot beverages EUR2-4, salads EUR4-6.50.
