The Indian restaurant Gobinda can be found in the multicultural flair of St.Georg's Lange Reihe. It offers both exotic meals and beverages. The interior is dominated by the broad middle aisle leading towards the bar at the back of the room. On the walls there are mirrors bearing oriental designs, and you are seated on rustic chairs. The staff at the Gobinda certainly have its unique charm, which is sometimes revealed when you hear them singing in the kitchen while preparing the vegetarian dishes or Indian meat and vegetable meals. There is a party-service, and take-away is also available.

- Very tasty food, no untoward after-effects.
- Waiter formal, rather than friendly. Questions seemed unwelcome.
“This restaurant was listed in a booklet found in the hotel lobby. The food was very tasty, although the range was somewhat limited. Don't expect too much flexibility, or a smile. Service was swift and the quality of the meal was good. You may feel a little frustrated if you ask for an explanation of what a dish is if you don't recognize it. If you are really into your curries, you can eat safely and it won't leave you broke. We had chicken Bangalore (which is Madras) - rice was included. Popp dums have coming in them and naan is plain, peshwari etc not available. Would I return if in Hamburg? Probably.”
