Located aboard a former 'Alsterdampfer' steamer, Cafe Wien attracts a mixed crowd of regulars. Business people and casually-dressed locals are just as common a sight as trendy young things. The choice of coffee and cake is too good to save for just Sunday afternoons. Should you arrive early enough in the summer, you can claim a sunny seat on the floating pontoon. Despite an average of 157 rainy days a year in Hamburg, there is no need to despair - the cosy rooms provide the perfect shelter. Drinks start at (EUR 2).
