Like many of the cafe bars in the city centre nowadays, this lesbian friendly place houses some great contemporary exhibitions that are changed about five times a year. Vanilla displays work by artists from all over the country and abroad. A really nice setting - just off Canal Street, but still in the centre of the Gay Village - it is a great place to just quietly sip your drink and appreciate some top quality paintings. While if you are looking to eat, Vanilla also offers a selection of contemporary flavoured light snacks and meals from lunchtime to early evening.
