One of Chorlton's newer and more food-orientated cafe bars, Idaho is small, cosy and ideally situated away from the main shopping area and the already well catered for Beech Road. With a selection of over 40 specialist bottled and draught beers - including Anchor Steam Beer on tap - and a fine range of wines available by the bottle or glass, Idaho makes an interesting alternative night out. The food is of a consistently high standard and it offers an evenly priced but short menu of contemporary gourmet dishes including fish, meat and vegetarian choices - such as veggie sausages with lentils and chilli butter (#6.95) or blackened tuna steak with new potatoes (#7.95).
