Tucked behind the main shopping area in Church Street, this spacious Chinese restaurant and takeaway is easily spotted by an authentic rickshaw parked outside the front door. Remarkably glamorous for a mere chippy, the interior is bedecked with stylish fittings, lighting and exotic foliage. More like an elegant bank than a takeaway, diners can choose to select a meal at the counter to take out or relax in the comfy seating area at the rear of the building. The fish and chips are crisp, fresh and very tasty and cost under #3 per portion. The menu varies from traditional English dishes to noodles and curries with a selection of special children's meals. A delivery service is offered within the city centre boundaries.
