Decorated in modern Japanese style with fountains and Japanese background music, the atmosphere in Hakuin is elegant, yet slightly cool. The exquisite food, however, more than makes up for this. The cuisine is mostly Japanese, with some excursions into Indian and German nouvelle cuisine. Only the finest and freshest ingredients are used, the service (by members of the Zen order) is friendly. This is probably the best vegetarian restaurant in town!
