Caffe Uno is bright and welcoming. It serves freshly prepared pizza, pasta with homemade sauces and daily specials. As an example, salmon and asparagus tagliatelle can be had for #7.35. Morning coffee and good, wholesome breakfasts (#4.75 for the top of the range traditional variety) are also dished up. If you want a drink and you don't fancy a coffee, a sensuous hot chocolate with lashings of cream is recommended. The decor is an odd mix of colonial and Mediterranean influences, but cosy armchairs make for a relaxing stay. Prices are reasonable, given the smartness of the place and its excellent location.
