• Atmosphere, service and clean toilets.
• People queuing to wait for a table.

“We were staying in Stratford on one of the wettest bank holidays we had enjoyed for many a year, and went into this pub on Saturday to dry off and enjoy a pint and a Pimps. As we sat there we thought that the food looked good so decided to indulge in a lunchtime snack. My other half had a mature cheese and chutney sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed and I had a sausage and onion sandwich and a bowl of chips which was great as was the service and atmosphere. We decided to return for our lunch the following day and again the food and service was just as good despite the place being extremely busy and could not fault it. We would highly recommend the Gerick Inn for its atmosphere and friendly service. ”

• Beers / selection, food quality and quantity.
• Service a bit slow.

“We totally enjoyed this Inn. The beers were great in English style. Our food was prepared well. My meat pie was very tasteful and filling. The service was a bit slow, but it was lunch time and the place was packed. We would go back in a heart beat!”

• The food and the customer service.

“My partner and I have been to Stratford many times and decided for the first time to try the Gerick inn. unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. the starter of rustic bread with olives had raw garlic butter in the middle and when we had it re-ordered the bread was cooked solid as if it had been "nuked" in the microwave. the main course of Aberdeen angus burger in ciabatta had the same bread problem. completely cooked hard around the edges. we went to the food desk to ask for a refund as the meal was not edible and were treated like criminals. we asked for a full refund on both main courses as my partner hadn't eaten hers because we wanted a meal together. this caused the woman behind the counter to start arguing with us before giving us a refund.... maybe it was a bad day with the food but as customer service goes in such a tourist trap, the way we were treated was disgraceful.”
