Mac's started off some years ago as a small shop on Main Street and soon built up a loyal clientele for its excellent homemade ice cream. In recent times they have expanded and now have a coffee bar, an extensive daily lunch menu (featuring soup, sandwiches, lasagne, fish, chicken and curries), and evening meals (featuring steaks, lamb, Irish stew, salmon and vegetarian dishes). Mac's prefers to serve meals only during standard lunch and dinner periods with snacks for in between times. There's also a fairly comprehensive wine list. Kids will love the large selection of ice cream sundaes, topped by a paper parasol.
