Selling fresh fish at the front and serving fish specialities at The Seahorse Restaurant in the back, O'Donoghue's offers two ways of enjoying the finest seafood. The Seahorse has a casual ambience with formica tables and marine-theme decor. The real emphasis here is placed upon the food. In addition to quality fish and meat, they use organic produce whenever possible. Vegetarians are well provided for with many options to choose from. Although there is a fine selection of lamb and beef dishes, fish takes centre stage with an almost bewildering array of choices. Oysters, lobster, and mussels are expertly prepared. The John Dory in Pernod cream sauce and seafood paella are highly recommended.
