Packed to the rafters on Boat Race Day, during the rest of the year The Old City Arms is a lively local with a supposedly Irish theme, although nothing more Irish than a good pint of Guinness and a mainly wooden interior is really in evidence. This is a pub that is best suited to winter days, as it has a pool table, sport on the TVs in every corner, and comfy seating throughout, but lacks benches or a garden for drinking in the sunshine. Typical pub grub is served at lunch and in the evening. A function room with a capacity of 150 is available for private hire.
