La Quintos

50 Cotham Hill, Cotham, Bristol, United Kingdom
Tel: +44 117 923 7445

The first thing you'll notice in here is the amazing mural, depicting a lush rainforest, that covers the walls, setting the tone for some great South American fun. Everything's bright and bubbly and some very funky music is played in the background, all of which contributes to the young and lively atmosphere - it's particularly popular with large groups. As you'd imagine, the food is Mexican and there's a huge choice for vegetarians, carnivores and fish-eaters alike. The ubiquitous fajitas are their speciality - there are six different kinds, all served sizzling hot and accompanied with guacamole, salsa and a stack of tortillas. If you're really hungry, try the "tapas for two" - selections off the menu (such as nachos, chicken wings, spicy mushrooms, beef fajita etc.) are brought to you in a seemingly never-ending procession throughout the evening! Wine starts at #8 a bottle, but you really should concentrate on their "Crazy Cocktails" for the full experience.
