Rocotillos1 Queens Row, Clifton, Bristol, United KingdomTel: +44 117 929 7207 This is one of Bristol's hidden treasures - a small, 50's-style American diner complete with booths, counters and friendly staff to match. The food is Mexican and American, so expect to find hot dogs, burgers, chilli-steak sandwiches, buffalo wings and nachos etc. plus a few veggie options. A children's menu is also available and it's a very kid-friendly place. They also do mouth-watering breakfasts (until noon) of eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns and a whole host of other options - the perfect hangover cure. You can also buy to takeaway, but the atmosphere in here is so much like something out of "Grease" that you'd be mad not to sample it. There's a very small selection of wines and beers, but most people go for authenticity and have one of their amazing milkshakes.

“I ordered a Veg burger (x2) The food was cold including the chips. Side salad was warm. Luckily Browns was across the road for a nice cocktail. One of the worst meals Ive had in a long time. I used to work in a kitchen so I know what its like when idiots like me complain. So no hard feeling or anything personal to the friendly staff. (Thats why I didnt complain, how terribly British of me). I was fuming when I came out of there! Had to be talked down by my Wife. I wish all the staff the best though. Its hard working in those environments. Pay raises to all kitchen/food staff!” Popular Restraurants in BristolView all restaurants in Bristol
