Situated in the refurbished vaults under what used to be the Bristol Fish Market, this restaurant is slightly musty but delightfully atmospheric all the same, with an all Dutch decor - there are clogs everywhere, naturally. Its speciality is pancakes, of every imaginable variation. On the savoury side you can choose from plain, cheese, basil with ratatouille, garlic sausage with mushroom, or their seafood special. The sweet pancakes are where it's really at though - who could resist banana, chocolate and ice cream, apple and cinnamon, and specials such as Golden Sunset (mandarin with orange curacao sauce) and Sweet and Spicy (ginger, peaches, ice cream and cinnamon). House wine is #7.25 a bottle, #1.75 a glass, Dutch beers are available and they make a mean Sangria. If you're living it up, go for a pitcher of buck's fizz.
