A few years ago the Barfussgasschen was a small, sleepy street in Leipzig's inner city ' until Markt 9 opened and right from day one became an in place to be. Since then, many pubs and bars have appeared in this area, but Markt 9 has always remained the most original, the friendliest and best in the inner city area. By day you can enjoy a great exotic meal from the ever changing menu and watch the passers by, and at night join the throng for the bar for Capiriha, wine or beer or enjoy electronic music nights which take place intermittently in the cellar bar. There's also free access to the city's intranet ' nice one!
