Leipzig has many faces, the Viennese composure is one of them and where else can you enjoy it if not in Riquet? Its not just coffee and cakes that are served in this historic trading house, Riquet is one of Leipzig's diverse cafe, restaurant and wine cellars. Built at the turn of the 20th century, it has two elephants decorating the entrance. It is spread over two floors with beautiful old furnishings and a wine cellar, as a result there is everything the heart could desire from cappucino to a wide-reaching evening menu. Naturally, one can also get breakfast every day betweeen 9a and noon.
