This cosy Austrian establishment serves up farmhouse-style specialities prepared according to age-old recipes. The fritaten soup (EUR 7) is excellent, the wiener schnitzel with potato salad (EUR 11) is made with the tenderest veal and the tafelspitz would not be out of place were it served for the rulers of the Austro-Hungarian empire. Guests can accompany their meal with traditional drinks like Gruene Veltliner beer (EUR 4) or almdudler (lemonade made from herbs) for EUR 2.50.
