PottenbrugMinderbroedersrui 28, Antwerp, BelgiumTel: +32 3 231 51 47 In the centre of Antwerp, in a cobble-stone street full of antique shops, you'll find the restaurant Pottenbrug. In summer, it has a very small terrace out front for al fresco dining. The interior is cozy and slightly retro, with its wooden panelling and old posters on the walls and wooden chairs and tables throughout the restaurant. Nothing seems to have changed since the time that this was just a pub. Despite that, the owners have a formula that works: great food at reasonable prices. Try, for example, the cod with spinach (kabeljauw met spinazie) or one of the great-value fixed menus with good old Belgian and French cooking with lots of fresh seasonal ingredients. The service is like the atmosphere—charming and friendly.

“I go to Antwerp regularly & always find time to eat at the Pottenbrug. My favorite dishes are during the game season (Oct-Dec), when there always is something interesting. The portions are always reasonable & often include a trio of various dishes. I don't know if the place would be family-friendly with little children, but certainly it would be ok for age 10+, so long as the kids are slightly adventurous & willing to put up with a slower pace of service.” Popular Restraurants in AntwerpView all restaurants in Antwerp
