It was quite a challenge for the brothers Paul and Pierre Van Meerbeeck to transform this old coal warehouse at the Vlaamsekaai into a reputable restaurant, and they have succeeded. The semi-rustic interior with simple furniture is dominated by an impressive iron chandelier. The chefs are known for some really innovative but no-frills food. It's a joy to be able to try some unusual combinations, including exquisite game dishes. The service is also up to high standards even when the restaurant is packed.
