The main room of this former cinema is used for concerts, theatre, parties and other events in the evening. The cafe is situated in what was the cinema's lobby, and is open all day. Here a stylish young clientele sit at the stainless-steel tables, sipping their coffees between appointments. The venue often hosts gay/lesbian-oriented events, and the clientele the cafe is mixed, but you won't feel out of place if you happen to be straight. The Gloria is one of the few decent cafes anywhere near Neumarkt, and is an ideal place for a pause while shopping.
