Cactus Canteen, located in the popular Lanes area, has a real fun atmosphere for a meal out. The decor over the two floors and roof terrace reflects the Mexican theme with chilli posters, cowboys and cacti. Fresh ingredients are used in all dishes - and there are plenty to choose from. For a starter, try Santa Fe Skins consisting of crisp potato skins with a topping of your choice. Main courses include quesadillas, burritos, fajitas, chillies, beanburgers, steaks and ribs. Who could resist warm blueberry muffins with cold ice cream? For those with smaller stomachs there is a children's menu at only #3.50.
