Buddha Bar8, rue Boissy d'Anglais, Paris, FranceWeb: Visit this site » A hit with businessmen and a fashionable crowd, this kitschy, exotic restaurant isn't quite what you'd expect to find just a few minutes away from the Crillon luxury hotel and ultra chic Place de la Concorde. Climb the massive staircase to this huge restaurant's smaller dining areas, watched over by an enormous Buddha. The imaginative Japanese-Californian menu features reasonably strong grilled duck and other meat dishes.

“Pitch black and mostly awful food but it is still the place to go and be seen. Much better for drinks than real food, but lots of pretty people there late at night. Great atmosphere, great music, but eat before you go.”

“Besides the decoration (the statue is beautiful), this is not a place to go: the service was horrible, the food presentation is bad and it's quite difficult not to find in Paris a better place to spend the money we paid for one meal, at dinner time (they even charge for collecting the clients jackets.). Ill never go back and strongly disservice anyone to go.”

“I have been there many time and I really love it! The atmosphere is awesome, the music, everything! Unfortunately you have unpleasant people working at the door.. After many great memories, I was just disappointed last night after being treated in an non respectful way by one of your bouncers. For no reason he just pushed me away. I was so sad afterwards that I just came home. I am really sorry for the whole team because I am sure that you never meant to hire someone so rude and impolite. I hope this changes pretty soon!” 5 of 7 people found this review helpful.

“You'll probably going there because some tour books has it on their list. Well, to be honest, if it wasn't famous, it would not been worth making a special trip to see it.

“Had a great time! Interior and the music make this place amazing. Food is great and drinks are good too. Drinks are small and expensive, but other than that the experience was a memorable one.” 15 of 19 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in Paris
