Klammstubn

The Klammstuben Inn lies in Kranebitten, west of the city. It bears the seal of approval of Tiroler Wirtshauser, a body that assesses the quality of restaurants serving authentic local cuisine. It is even a hit with locals, who appreciate the traditional recipes. Perhaps not a place to bring people for a business lunch but this is a charming, reasonably-priced place to eat. Expect to encounter excellent examples of Spatzln and Schutzkrapfen and an impressive line up of local schnapps which will not argue with your meal. The premises possess a certain cottage charm, complete with an open fire for the winter and a stunning terrace for when the sun shows its face. There is also a handful of rooms that can be rented here.
