Buca di Beppo is the epitome of the big Italian family-style restaurant.

A series of cluttered, crowded, boisterous rooms make up this red-sauce dining experience. The tables and booths are cozy, comfortable and you will certainly be elbow to elbow if dining with a group. The portions have over-abundance written all over them to encourage sharing.

Regardless of the entree ordered, it will arrive on a family-size platter heaped with ravioli, chicken cacciatore or good old spaghetti and meatballs. Pass those plates around and sample all the garlicky, Italian American cuisine. A red wine, imported beer or cocktail will help wash it all down.
