In the eclectic Cathedral Hill neighborhood of St. Paul, look for the bell tower. Below it is a wonderful little place that caters to an upscale crowd.

The elegant neo-classical decor in the front bar is a curious combination of Greek and Chinese. Grab a booth and enjoy views of the street with its Victorian-era buildings. The dining room is more intimate. The enclosed patio is open all summer.

The menu is French Bistro jazzed up with some vegetarian choices. How do you spell muffaletta? Even the local favorite, walleye (prepared two ways), is present. Try the blackened chicken with cucumber dressing, the linguini with white clam sauce or the super-stacked turkey sandwich.

On Sunday, from 4pm-8pm, the dining room features a jazz band.
