Sweeney's Saloon96 North Dale St, St. Paul, MNBuilt in the 1890s, the Victorian ambiance is everywhere, from the bar background mural to the tin-punched ceiling. On Friday or Saturday nights, get here early or you will be standing in the aisle. The enclosed multi-level patio is open during the summer months. The full menu has items such as the Catholic Grade School Lunch (grilled cheese with marinara sauce for dipping) and pasta, salads and grilled chicken. The appetizers are favorites: calamari, chicken tenders, and mini-pretzels with bleu cheese.

“Sweeney's is quintessential St. Paul. A pub and restaurant in a historic building that makes you feel like you've come home. This place has character and they have a really good regular happy hour and a bonus late night happy hour too. If it's nice out, don't miss their patio. It is one of the nicest in St. Paul. This place is casual with good food, but if you want fussy go someplace else.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in St. PaulView all restaurants in St. Paul
