In the Piazza del Polpo, in Rapallo near the Medieval Castle, is the Hotel Europa, a modern, four star hotel which is located in the former residence of the Marquis Serra. On the ground floor of the building is the Il Trattato Restaurant, (named for the historic treaty of 1921), which has a sophisticated atmosphere and offers fine food with regional dishes and new, international tastes.
