Where can you find a chef influenced by 1800s cookbooks with a background in mess hall cooking? This simple yet elegant restaurant offers just that chef, and the cuisine matches his original background. Oversized plates frame main entrees such as Duck Gumbo, Charbroiled Beef and Grilled Lamb Chops. Jazzy tunes drift from the restaurant, housed in the historic Union Block Building, and careful training is evident in the attentive waiters that serve your meal with a flourish.
