Whether looking for a light, healthy meal or simply a java pick-me-up, this Elmwood Avenue-Allentown coffee house hits the spot. The menu offers omelets for breakfast, lunch sandwiches, and full Mediterranean-style dishes for dinner. Some claim the coffee is the best in the city.Tiny and simply decorated in an early 1980s coffee house style, this is a favorite for many of Buffalo's poets and writers, and readings are often held here. The ambience is definitely small college town with plenty of earnest conversation and the occasional heated discussion.
