  • Parking in Downtown Hartford.

“Garlic bread can't ever be better, entry's are always good and service professionally friendly which is a standard of a Jimmy Cosgrove Restaurant.”

  • For an after theater drink or a snack while shopping, you can't beat it.
  • Fixturing needs updating.

“If what you're looking for is a relaxed, well made drink on your way to or from the Schubert theater which is right next door, you'll be plesantly surprised with Hot Tomatoes. Although all ages hang out there, it's still a calm atmosphere that lends itself to unwinding. The bartenders are versed in wide variety of cocktails, and a decent wine list offers all of the more popular American types. The food is okay, I guess, but then, you don't go to Hot Tomatoes for a world-class dining experience. You go for the atmosphere, and to relax.

The only disturbing note for me, were the cracked, fire-engine red lights at the bar. Being the signature decoration for Hot Tomatoes, you'd think they would be a priority to keep in good shape.”
