Hopper's Brew Pub890 East Fort Union Boulevard, Midvale, UTThis is a busy and bustling brew pub that features delicious casual pub food and blues music (piped in or live). The menu is large and varied, featuring homemade specialty pizzas and seafood items as well as more traditional fare like club sandwiches, oversized burgers, and chicken-fried steaks. There are eight different microbrews available, all made on the premises. Tee-totalers can enjoy "Fred and Ginger Ale" or other soft drinks. The food and "growlers" (64oz servings of the beer) are all available for take-out as well.

“My friend and I are regular customers, well known by most employees. We visited "waffles" (as we preferably call it) this afternoon. After we had been seated, the man who was serving us, Sean, accused us of stealing his six dollar tip that he claims was sitting on the table. We told him we never saw a tip sitting on the table. He asked us several times, but we reassured him that there was no money on the table when we sat down. As a matter of fact, I am well known for over tipping my servers! He continued to serve us with a disdainful attitude; letting us wait almost a half hour for our food without any form of apology. By the time our food arrived, he didn't say a word when he placed it on the table- and the hash we specifically asked not to have mushrooms. Surprise! My friend is allergic to mushrooms- she barely ate it. We wrote a note describing our unappreciated visit and left it on the table for Sean. As we were just getting done paying (not to mention we left a tip, regardless of his "crappy customer service") he approached us with the intent to blatantly "tell us off". "I can't believe you have the gaul to leave that note on the table even after you ripped me off!¿ he proclaimed to us in front of a room full of customers. I argued that we would never steal a tip (worst karma ever) and that the man who sat us down could even vouch that there was no money on the table when were seated. Sean continued to tell us off- and then he told us that we are now "eighty-six" and never permitted back in the restaurant. We've never been treated so disrespectfully. I wish every server could be as kind as Kelly.” 0 of 2 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in MidvaleView all restaurants in Midvale
