This elegant restaurant is one of the most expensive in Kansas City. Located in the Crown Center complex, its lavish interior features contemporary decor, high ceilings and lots of windows offering an outstanding view of downtown. The American offers an extensive wine list and an award-winning menu, which includes seafood, game, scallops, grilled chicken and veal. This restaurant is known for its artistic, flavorful dishes. Guests must adhere to the semi-formal attire required for entrance. Be sure to save room for dessert because the selection is fantastic.
