Chef Jamie Stachowski took ownership of Le Tarbouche in September of 2003 and remade the restaurant to a fine modern cuisine destination. Chef Stachowski has enjoyed an enthusiastic following for many years in the D.C. area. He has been invited to cook at the James Beard House, and ECiti Restaurant and Bar won Best New Restaurant when he served as chef there. He enjoys drawing of a wide variety of sources for unusual fish, seafood, organic beef, and exotic fruits and vegetables. His mature cooking style is founded on solid classic French technique but expresses a broad palate of flavors, textures, and cultural references.
