Walk in the door and it is 1954 all over again. Unlike many diners that have too much chrome, plastic, and pricey menus, Artie's has a lived-in feel. You can listen to songs from the 50s on the jukebox. The decor features interesting modern fixtures and details. The menu features all kinds of burgers (teriyaki and Italian to name just two). The bacon lettuce and tomato (BLT) sandwich is made with huge slabs of smoked bacon. The soda fountain offers shakes, cokes, banana splits,and other delights.
