Voodoo Cafe & Lounge3700 West Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NVWeb: Visit this site » Located at the top of the Rio Hotel, this restaurant and nightclub offers some of the most spectacular views of Las Vegas. Diners will enjoy the subdued lighting and elevated booth seating in the restaurant. The nightclub offers all varieties of hard liquor, wines and beers. Menu selections include Backfin blue crab cake, frog legs and Louisiana oysters. An excellent choice is the porterhouse steak with Jack Daniels sauce or the grilled black pepper chicken. There is also a small gift shop where you can purchase a logo T-shirt, or even a "voodoo doll" complete with pins.

“The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night at 7:30pm, and it never did get crowded in the 2 hours we were there (surprising considering how popular I expected this place to be). Our server was extremely rude from the moment we arrived, the hostesses were obviously having a bad night, and the buzzer wasn't much better! In retrospect we should have asked for a new server as soon as we recognized that he was not the right fit, but I kept thinking he would warm up. We had a $1200 table that night, and since we were a larger group he knew that he didn't need to worry about the tip since the 20% service charge was automatic. We witnessed other tables having lively interactions with their servers, and receiving a birthday treat and song at the culmination of their meal, but our waiter couldn't wait to get us out of the restaurant and never did offer us dessert. There are too many other great restaurants in Vegas to spend your money where you are treated with disrespect. The birthday celebration was made memorable because of the amazing view, the incredible food, and the time we spent upstairs in the Lounge, but I would not return for a meal based on the attitude we received from the server.”

“The Voo Doo Lounge experience was the highlight of our trip. The music is funky and fun, not all house music. The view is breath taking. The people were all so happy and friendly the night I was there. The outdoor decks are where it's at. No smoke billowing around you. That view with a drink and your best buddies is the most fun you'll have in town!” 6 of 9 people found this review helpful.

“Probably the best view of the Strip that you're ever going to see. The Lounge is on the 52nd floor of the Rio hotel. Good cocktails, great view... totally Vegas atmosphere. You should do this.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in Las VegasView all restaurants in Las Vegas
